AMG

Alejandro Medina Gómez, known artistically as AMG, is a multidisciplinary artist who has made art his way of life. From a young age, he found in the visual arts an inexhaustible means of expression that, over time, became his profession. His work seeks to convey the absurd and the playful through a provocative, constantly evolving aesthetic, with pieces that seem to float or shine intensely.

Her sculptures and graphic compositions are the product of a free process, without predetermined schemes or paths. Each work is a constant mutation, a transformation that reflects her emotions, her environment, and her interactions with her community. AMG understands the act of creating as an introspective journey, where she finds herself and loses herself, ultimately translating that experience into a unique piece imbued with stories.

Play, improvisation, color, and experimentation are pillars of his practice. He doesn't limit himself to a specific technique or material: he works with playful forms, original volumes, and intense monochromes. The uncertainty of the final result is, for him, a creative engine that allows him to keep his artistic exploration alive without confining himself to a defined aesthetic.

His work has been exhibited in various group shows, and he has held two self-organized solo exhibitions: *DINOSAURS* at Galería Lado Nacional (Guadalajara, 2021) and *AMG* at No Somos Nada Gallery (Guadalajara, 2022). In addition to his artistic practice, AMG also works as a curator, cultural manager, and graphic designer, developing visual identities for brands and diverse projects.

Convinced that art is his great love, AMG continues to work on new projects that seek to break down barriers and connect emotionally with the viewer. Inspired by nature, everyday life, and creative freedom, his art continues to evolve and pave the way within the contemporary art scene.
