Marina Pallares

Marina Pallares, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, is a prominent painter and printmaker with over 20 years of experience. She studied Visual Arts at the University of Guadalajara and has dedicated herself professionally to painting and printmaking since 2000. Her work, characterized by constant creative evolution, encompasses techniques such as watercolor, oil, graphite, and printmaking, adapting to the expressive needs of each project.

Pallares rejects the idea of being pigeonholed into a specific movement or technique, which allows him to maintain creative freedom and continually explore new forms of expression. His ability to adapt different techniques has enabled him to develop a unique and versatile visual language, reflected in the richness of his work.

In 2020, Marina Pallares acquired a printmaking press and founded Taller Viajantes with her partner Alex, with the aim of creating an open space for experimentation and artistic collaboration. The workshop seeks to support emerging and established artists, offering a space for exploration and growth in the field of printmaking and creativity.

Throughout his career, Pallares has worked at Alejandro Camacho's Contemporary Graphic Arts Workshop, where he honed his technique and solidified his style. Now, with Taller Viajantes, he continues to promote creativity and graphic art, combining his experience with a fresh and experimental vision.

With an inexhaustible passion for art and a constant dedication to her practice, Marina Pallares continues to explore new forms of expression, consolidating herself as a key figure in contemporary Mexican art.
