Patricia Sánchez Saiffe

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1978, Patricia Sánchez Saiffe is a visual artist specializing in printmaking and painting. A graduate of ITESM with a degree in Communication Sciences and a graduate of UNIVA with a technical degree in Graphic Design, she has complemented her artistic training with renowned teachers such as Enrique Monraz Ponce, Gabriel Mariscal, Alejandro Camacho, and Carmen Bordes. Her work encompasses painting, printmaking, and publishing projects, with a visual vision enriched by narrative, emotional, and symbolic elements.

With a solid track record, she has been selected for biennials and competitions such as the Salón de Octubre and the Eulalio Ferrer Biennial, and has held solo exhibitions in venues such as the Guadalajara Chamber of Commerce, the Zapopan Institute of Culture, Galería Ajolote, and the Cocula House of Culture. She has also participated in group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, Spain, and France, including venues such as the Musée de La Poste in Paris and galleries in Seville and Madrid.

Her work is part of prominent collections such as those of the Bank of Mexico, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the Fondo de Cultura Económica (Economic Culture Fund), Black Coffee Gallery, and the Milenio Art Collection, as well as private collections in Japan, Canada, Argentina, France, and the United States. In the field of editorial illustration, she has collaborated with institutions such as CONACULTA (National Council for Culture and the Arts), UNESCO, FONCA (National Fund for Culture and the Arts), and the Andrés Bello Mexican Publishing House, illustrating children's and young adult books that combine playfulness with cultural identity.

She has developed special projects with social impact, such as creating murals for the San Juan de Dios Hospital and the San Juan Grande shelter, in addition to participating in traveling art interventions like “Heart Parade,” “Mayan Parade,” and “TV Parade.” Her work integrates sensitivity, technique, and social commitment, standing out for its intimate and symbolic style.

Currently, Patricia Sánchez Saiffe continues to be active as an artist and cultural manager, working on new individual and collaborative projects that integrate art as a means for emotional connection, visual dialogue, and social transformation.
